Defaced U.S. half dollar coin. The coin is first annealed to soften and prepare it to be stamped. Prefabricated stamps used to obscure the "god" stamp on obverse of the coin and add "time is" on the reverse. This was a gift to a girlfriend and my way of saying "time flies when you're having fun."
