Class 8 Lamp & Extension Cord 2026

Liquid mercury, resin, prefab hardware

Lamp project started during my residency at Monson Arts. They both function as exaggerated mercury switches using gravity to actuate circuits. The vial of mercury is safely contained inside of the resin but still requires class 8 dangerous substance handling to ship. This is a continuation of my America's Nightlight series.
