Charlie 2020 three quarter inch poplar, shaved poplar strips, prefab hardware

We were tasked with trying to create the lightest chair out of .75" wood that could support the weight of an adult. By placing a sharpened wooden stake in between the sitters legs it is meant to emulate the jungle death traps of the Vietnam War.

WE WERE TASKED WITH TRYING TO CREATE THE LIGHTEST CHAIR OUT OF THREE QUARTER INCH HARD WOOD THAT COULD SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF AN ADULT, TAKING INSPIRATION FROM THE JUNGLE DEATH TRAPS OF THE VIETNAM WAR I PLACED A SHARPENED WOODEN STAKE THAT RESTS BETWEEN YOUR LEGS WHILE SEATED
