Ben's Bottles 2023, slip cast porcelin  

 

 

After being introduced to Glass Bottle Beach by one of my professors I immediately fell in love with it. A product of Robert Moses' thoughtless campaign of profits, what used to be the area in which thousands of people lived and worked is now a weathering landfill full of antique trash. Spending many weekends at my dystopian seashell hunting ground I attempted to recreate some of my favorite designs using slip casting techniques with plaster molds.
